Getting you back to keeping in stride

Our running analysis includes a thorough assessment of your running form and biomechanics, using video analysis to identify areas of improvement. Our physical therapists will also review your running gait and cadence, helping to correct any bad habits and prevent future injury.

After completing the running analysis, our SOMA therapist will provide you with feedback on your form and the tools you need to improve your mechanics. This may include changes to your strike pattern, exercises to strengthen weak areas, and adjustments to your cadence to help you run more efficiently.

Why you would need running analysis:

  • Difficulty increasing running distance or speed
  • Frequent injuries such as shin splints, plantar fasciitis, or knee pain

I started coming to Soma in June of this year with a torn MCL. George has worked wonders on knee. Very mindful and considerate on how much to push forward without aggravating the injury. New exercises weekly to strengthen the knee and post surgery this has definitely helped. The other part which is great is that they’re super helpful on accommodating to your schedule and very helpful with dealing with the insurance companies. This really helped set my recovery to a great start…

ACL full recovery- I started with George a month before my ACL surgery and I was able to reach full range of motion right before surgery as suggested by my surgeon. This really helped set my recovery to a great start. ACL recovery is painful in the beginning but working along George made it easy to understand the different stages I was in and I saw improvement through every session. I had some set backs along the way like tendinitis but that was nothing George couldn’t help me get through. I’m now fully recovered and so thankful for George’s help.
