Everyone is absolutely amazing at SOMA Physical Therapy. From the front desk to the therapists themselves, they will make you feel like family. They put very special care and attention into everyone that walks in there. In the time I’ve been there, I have strengthened and learned some of the simplest ways to improve my injury. They are definitely a place I will be referring any family or friends to go to if they ever need physical/occupational therapy done.

From my first appointment, the entire team was incredibly kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. They took the time to get to know me and my goals, and subsequently guided me through a tailored rehab plan focused on both strength and flexibility. Thanks to their expert care, I was not only able to recover, but I successfully completed my first marathon!! Every therapist and staff member I interacted with was considerate, encouraging, and truly invested in my progress. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and support throughout my recovery. Costa was extremely professional and knowledgeable with my diagnosis. I had a great time working with him and he made sure I attained the goals we set up together. It was easy to set up an appointment, which they also accommodated in short notice. The office has a positive atmosphere and I look forward to working with him again.

I am a blind person and amazingly have not always had great experiences when visiting a doctor or physical therapist’s office as I am a guide dog handler. I do not write a lot of reviews, but feel I had to as my experience with Soma PT from my first phone call to every visit to their office has been fantastic. From an accessible intake form for blind screen reader users, to the entire staff at the front desk, to their physical therapists, all my experiences have been first class and amazing. Additionally, the treatment has been first class. If you are in the Astoria area and need a physical therapist this is the place to go. I actually will be sad when my PT ends as I love the entire staff so much.

SOMA is a hidden gem in Astoria that more people need to know about! George and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and really take the time to get to know each patient. The facility is also really clean. I highly recommend SOMA for anyone who needs physical therapy!

I love Soma!!! Came with tendinitis on both rotator cuffs, and Dominick was an earth angel who helped heal them! He and the rest of the crew are so patient and friendly, and tolerate all my questions about the human body. The facility is modern, clean, well-designed with lots of sunlight and new equipment. Jessie & Monina are dream admins who made scheduling and insurance stuff so simple.

I was looking for a PT spot in my neighborhood in advance of a surgery and was sold on SOMA right away. Very clean facility. The folks at the desk take care of business. The therapists are very knowledgeable and everything you do with them is with care and intent. They explain why you’re doing what you’re doing with patience. Highly recommended.
