James Youngs

James graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration, then stayed to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2026. While in PT school, he lived in Astoria and completed a clinical rotation in the area, and he immediately felt at home in the neighborhood.

James is passionate about making patients feel supported and heard throughout their rehab. Nothing excites him more than seeing patients return to activities they once couldn’t enjoy.

James draws upon his experiences in a variety of clinical settings. He has worked with patients of all ages and with many different challenges, including post-operative care and joint replacements, neurological conditions, acute injuries, chronic pain, and return to sport. As a former athlete himself, he loves treating young athletes and helping them get back to the court or field. James believes successful rehab considers not just the injury but also each patient’s perspective, goals, and lifestyle.

Outside the clinic, James likes staying active outdoors, whether he’s finding a new hiking trail or exploring the city. To slow down, he goes fishing and spends a day by the water. He also prioritizes his own fitness through weightlifting and jogging.
