George Stamboulis is a Co-founder of SOMA Physical and Occupational Therapy. He earned his Bachelor’s of Life Sciences and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Following his graduate education, George completed an orthopedic residency program where he was mentored by renowned physical therapist across the nation. With the knowledge and hands-on experience, he obtained his orthopedic clinical specialist certification (OCS) and taught graduate level anatomy and manual therapy. He is also a co-author of a journal article on blood flow restriction training, which was published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.
George prides himself in giving quality care and guiding patients to better themselves every visit. He has experience treating a variety of diagnoses including, but not limited to pre/post-operative, musculoskeletal, sports injuries, neurological and chronic pain.
On his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, hiking/camping and fishing.
